Week 13 - Our First Eggplant

Hey Everyone! Neil and I are gearing up for our trip to Crivitz in 2 weeks, and are very excited to see the Wisconsin Clan!  Things are going crazy at Perry St. Gardens - In fact, everything just keeps growing and growing. I picked our very first eggplant last night and made a delicious Eggplant Parmesan for dinner. I am sharing the herbs, and I am sure that in a few weeks time, we are going to be everyone's favorite people in regards to produce!

Forgot to take an all over photo of the garden today, BUT here are some photos of how things are coming along:

Tomatoes are going CRAZY!

Just a small photo of all of our fabulous tomatoes coming up!

Eggplant with new purple flowers for the border!

Eggplant - the top left are all from one plant!

Peppers and CRAZY Marigolds

Marigolds from a different angle - they are about 4 ft tall now

Butternut Squash has taken over!
Cucumber also making its mark

Herbs are still growing!
On a side note, the Aurora movie theater shooting was at a theater that Neil, my sister and myself never go to, however it is a very tragic and senseless act of evil.  We are very sad for all the families affected by the shooting. Anything that happens like this is tragic anywhere, but people in Colorado are particularly sensitive to mass shootings. We are sending good vibes to the people affected today.  Hope you guys do to!
